Some of that has to be due to the fact the Bears suck worse than the Cowboys.
It's also more than halfway through the 3rd quarter of what had been a very boring game. It didn't get halfway exciting until the 4th quarter. Even then it was ho hum.

California gunman tried to access classrooms to kill children, police say
The gunman who killed four people and wounded at least 10 others, including two children, in Northern California Tuesday tried to access rooms at an elementary school to shoot more kids, police said at a press conference Tuesday night.

The wife of the California gunman whose Tuesday rampage included seven shooting locations -- including an elementary school -- was also killed during the seemingly random spree of terror, and police believe her death may have spurred the rest of the slaughter.

EA then went on to announce that they were lowering the cost to grind to these microtransactions, then promptly restructured how much in game credit you can earn by playing, so that players were back to square one. To add insult to injury, they also added a cool-down to certain earned features, and removed the refund button from the microtransaction menu. The fallout from the last two changes is currently unfolding.
