One shenanigan I noted with my e-ballot machine was that I was going to vote a straight ticket, but noticed that there was no Republican running against Eddie Bernice Johnson. Since at least there was an opposition candidate to Eddie Bernice, Shawn Jones (Libertarian), I instead individually selected Ted Cruz and Shawn Jones on the first page of the e-ballot. Every page after that, with no further action on my part, was then pre-selected with the Republican candidate except where a Democrat was running unopposed, LOL. Worked for me, and of course I double checked everything twice before submitting and finalizing my vote, but I can see where some less-than-aware voters might get votes cast where they didn't necessarily intend them to be.Originally posted by line-em-up View PostComment
