Protesters have to stay within the free speech zones, which are typically placed away from media attention.
Technically, dissenters can thrown in jail for breaking the law, but are normally just removed.

I don't know why there is even much of a discussion about any of this anymore. We all know that whoever is elected is likely going to fall in line to the status quo, end up giving us the exact same same bullshit lies and bigger government we had under Obama, and Bush, and Clinton, and etc, etc, etc, and just kick the can down the road a little further. 90% of everyone's promises are lies, some just more obvious and see through than others. As great as it would be, saving the Republic from these clowns with an election is a load of horse shit. If I am wrong and whoever is elected actually accomplishes something good and constitutional, that is when I will be shocked. I am not even sure I can bring myself to vote this year, and if I do it will likely be a third party but we will see. I am almost to the point of just saying fuck it and watching the place burn from my back yard because we know they lie every single time and don't listen to the people.
