I think the tea party overplayed its hand over the last two years. I understand that they have specific objectives but they never gave themselves room to negotiate. The very nature of our Constitution is to negotiate. Instead the Dems have done a very good job of making the tea party look like a bunch of obstructionist that keep any real work from getting done.Comment
