Downtown Dallas Mega March on Palm Sunday

Thousands turn out in Dallas for Mega March for immigration rights
Thousands of people marched through downtown Sunday afternoon to support immigrants' rights, drawing a smaller but more diverse crowd than the last Mega March 11 years ago.
Protesters began walking from the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe shortly after 2 p.m., moving along Ross Avenue to Griffin Street on their way to City Hall Plaza. There, speakers addressed the crowd of several thousand.
Drivers should expect road closures throughout the area, and city officials urged people to find alternate routes around downtown.
