I'm frankly confused what you're arguing with me about. My initial point was that China is inevitably going to be the top power in the world. You seem to mostly agree, when you're taking a break from being a condescending jerkoff.

They are a threat but they can be dealt with. They have strengths and they have weaknesses.

Mark my words on this, China has been chomping at the bit to be able to exert military dominance in their region and that will start with the taking of Taiwan. Biden will sit by and allow them to do it and 10 years from now we won't recognize or understand the world that we are now living in.

China's military is a growing threat because we have a legacy military, not much political will to produce advanced weapons outside buying newer versions of what we have now, or change our thinking about war fighting, and outside of John McCain (It really, really hurts saying something nice about him) no one or very few someones understand the nature of the threat. Just look at how shocked we were when the little green men invaded Ukraine in 2014 and used 1st rate new style war fighting techniques and equipment.

China sells rare earths at a loss to keep us from developing our own. This is a well know fact. Canada has more know reserves than China and once China tries to tighten up what they will sell it will make leaching rare earths from a few hundred years worth a mining till and manufacturing swarf that is piled up in the North East and Mid-West VERY profitable. This was already being done in the late 90s to early 2000s and is what made China drop their prices back then.

The US has moved manufacturing outside of China but not enough of it. We should move all of it.

China has been bending over backwards to gain access to resources in Africa because of their domestic shortages.

I never said that China is going to have a problem getting food from outside of their country. I said that they MUST get food from outside of their country.

By the way, China is very resource poor? Are you drunk? China has more natural resources than any country in the world. They will always be able to find a buyer for those wares to supplement other areas of deficiency. That is what all countries do. They trade what they have for what they don’t. China also is not food sufficient because they don't have enough water in the right places to grow enough food to feed themselves and they never will and they know it. If the US passed a law that prohibited their goods from being sold in the US China would have a civil war within a year and their economy would fail nearly overnight. China has 1.4 billion people to our 330 mil. They also have more landmass. They have the resources to do whatever they need to do, and nothing we do is going to change that or keep them in check. The time to do that passed in the 1980's. They are the next world leaders.
