So, lets continue the mission, but not pay the soldiers performing their duty. What fucking joke this government is.Originally posted by Denny View PostNo, operating costs for the mission should continue (other than the service members' pay).
Didn't Rome eventually have problems funding their army? Wasn't it near the end?

Ya, I'm still getting paid in full. In fact, I have a scheduled raise (approved through our contract) on April 15th (about 4%). The money for my contract was set aside in full upon the awarding of the contract (through 21 November 2011), so it's like the DoD already spent that money. I do, however, have several evac plans.Originally posted by samuel642000 View PostDenny, may be a little personal but as a contractor are you still getting paid? Since I assume you are operational costs.

People filing online will still get processed. Only people who file with paper will be delayed because the input people will be furlowed.Originally posted by Denny View PostI'm glad I'm not one of those people waiting on a tax refund. LMFAO!!!
That sob bullshit story from Obama is a joke. If that guy TJ needed his money so bad, he should have filed early, filed online and received his refund. Online refunds are averaging 10 days vs the 5-6 weeks for paper refunds. And Obama called it a rebate. WTF. The guy cant speak without his teleprompter
