this all falls back to them anyways. Its the Dems fault for not passing their own budget last year when they had the House/Senate/White House. They didnt do their own budget because they knew how bad it would make them look before mid term elections.

It had a rider that cut funding for planned parent-hood, basically the republicans are trying to cut funding for abortions which I agree with but I don't think they should have compromised the CR and pay for our troops. They could have defunded in a later bill.

For one, PP is very essential. Without it, thousands of women would likely die every year. Second, the preventative services it provides save the federal government money. Defund it and you're actually losing more money over the long haul.

Because the myth that Planned Parenthood uses federal tax dollars to fund abortion has absolutely nothing to do with a constitutional mandate to fund the program? If Republicans were trying to defund it on the premise that it's unnecessary, that argument might be relevant. But they aren't, and it's not.

Mammograms, pregnancy tests', etc. cost the same. 80% of the reason they are there is to perform abortions. THAT is the money-maker, and THAT is the reason the Libs want to protect it. If they provide such a great service, then they can support themselves.

What the services cost is irrelevant. 75% of the services they provide are to people 150% below the poverty line who, you know, can't afford a doctor.
