Why is the shower valve so low??!! Looks to be below sink height.

Beats me honestly. It was there when the house was built. My dad wanted to leave it there in the same spot. I suggested putting it under the shower head. Its not as low as you would think.

Without the glass...there is about $1400. Glass is going to be $2k

Just a normal sanded Mapei grout. Did lots of reading and got turned away from an epoxy grout. Just going to seal it. 511 Impregnator sealant is supposed to be great stuff and works on grout and natural stone.
