Currently putting in some dual pane, low e, argon, etc. windows on the north side of my house to see if they are worth the money. Not really looking for cost savings, but more comfort. Right now my house has those cheap thin aluminum windows that keeps my lower north side of my house 10 degrees difference from the rest of the house.

Ended up being 289 a window installed after tax. Hurricane windows etc.

I think windows are an excellent investment if installed properly.
