Gonna tear up ma'yard

Guess i won't tear it up after all. Is there a weed and feed you guys recommend, anything to get rid if these weeds. I literally threw pieces of st. Augustine on my lawn last summer and i just noticed that this stuff branched out like crazy.

Damn. I bought this cheap ass weed and.grass killer, thinking it wouldn't kill anything like the previous weed killers I purchased and that shit killed everything! I probably ruined something but it's cool. No more weeds. I just covered the blank spots on my yard with some st. Augustine Monday. it'll come around

If you lay new sod enjoy the water bill trying to get it going.... Mayhaps science projects from here and restart next spring with rains to help the water bill?

I am in the same boat trying to weed and feed plus aeriate it. I was told that helps a ton when you see it shooting up sprouts it means it is stressed. This is my first spring in this house and the yard is kicking my ass.

You've got that backwards. I HATE St Augustine. I like a short, thick yard of Bermuda

Mine is starting off pretty good. Been working on it for the last couple seasons and it's finally getting nice, green and thick.
