Just got pre-approved for financing to buy our house!

I just bought in March of '10. Got an FHA 30 year @ 5.25% with way less than 20% down.I didn't think it was bad since all I had on my credit was basically a car loan. The preapproval was easy but after we found a house in our range it was a pain in the ass to get it all finished.

Pretty much the same details for me as far as the financing. I don't have great credit, I've always paid everything cash which is kind of good and bad I guess. We looked at probably 50+ houses and put a bid on 4 before we were able to get ours. It worked out pretty well though, we ended up with a little more property than the brand new houses and I'm glad we went with 2 living rooms instead of 4 bedrooms.
