I used old republic because they supported geothermal heat pumps. A fridge crapped out and it took 3 months to get resolved. That's with me coordinating everything an trying to do follow up calls.
Upon renewal, not a fuck was given when I complained about that scenario - so I let it lapse.
I do not recommend them.

If you're going to do it, pay the little extra for the top coverage. What they don't tell you is that not ALL things are covered when they come out. Little parts, freon, etc. are sometimes not included. With the top flite plans, the incidentals are covered, too.Originally posted by lincolnboy View PostLooking for a home warranty company. also one that is good with pool, pool parts. I don't have any personal experience, but here is a list of everybody licensed to offer them in Texas:

american home shield= RUN
Do a random google review search on them and enjoy. They are horrible, and don't EVER want to fix anything under thier warranty. But if you like to give money away, press on.
That is all.Last edited by 4.6coupe; 03-13-2013, 12:41 PM../ ____ _ _\.

Why don't you just save cash to pay for shit that breaks?
Hell, you should have homeowner's insurance to help pay for major stuff like a roof, anyways.I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

I don't disagree with your first statement, but homeowners insurance and residential service contracts cover different things. Insurance covers physical damage/theft ect, an RSC would generally cover mechanical failure of an appliance (no physical damage, no structural coverage).Originally posted by LANTIRN View PostWhy don't you just save cash to pay for shit that breaks?
