You're gonna retire in this house, right?

Trying to put up 80lb sheets of drywall on the ceiling with 2 guys is hard. They use nails to get it started.

Well, havent updated this in a while because there wasnt much to update. I had been working 75 hours a week or so for the last 2 months between 2 jobs and just havent done much...
Finally stepped up and started paying for some work to get done being that I worked so much. Drywall guys have done about 1/2 the job. All the drywall is up and partially tape and bed. We are doing smooth level 5 drywall. Albert (mustang1200's recommendation) is doing the work.
Also, we had the entire a/c and heater replaced. Don and Donnie (JunkRacing) from the board installed a 3 ton heat pump. 15 seer unit inside and out with backup heat strips. THey also ducted the entire house, made new returns and installed new plenums. Dont have any pics from inside the attic where the a/c was moved to but I will get them later.

    Here are some drywall pics.

Dont have all the pics of the house right now due to the lack of light. Drywall guys killed about all the lightbulbs as they hammered in some nails. I only had the can lights in the house working at the time.

Well they say you still radiate heat through the boards. So for perfect effect youd want to spray on some of the silver stuff on all the boards too

The cheapness is killing me. I need to do drywall soon but looking at $3000-3500 in labor. That will pay for the new 3 ton heat pump a/c unit, or the dishwasher, stove and oven, or 1/2 the wood floors, etc. I have saved tons of money by doing stuff myself. Im $20k into this and would be at $30k if I had subbed out a lot of the labor so far.
