  • Replacing fascia

Well, I have decided to replace the siding on the front of my house. The fascia along the garage is in HORRIBLE shape so I plan to replace that whole stretch. Do I need to be concerned with the drip edge? It os NOT attached to the fascia?

Are you talking about the shingle molding or the metal flashing

Yes the metal flashing should be against the fascia board unless there is shingle molding (1×2) then the metal flashing should be against it.

Is there a high potential for it to be damaged? That is more my concern.
