Yeah.....out here in Greenville we have NOTHING big! HD, Lowes, ans Wal Mart are the only places we have!

Stocking up (if you are dedicated to grass) is the way to go. My local JD landscapes places wanted $60 a bag for pre-m pre-emergent. When he realized I needed 3 bags (acre lot) he gave me the contractor/cash discount and it dropped to $35/bag. This year my dad is jumping onboard with me and we will probably buy 10 bags between us to get a good price.

Thanks for the tip! I was pretty diligent last year. Pre emergent in the spring and fertilized every 6 weeks. Though I fell off late in the year and missed my window for fall pre. Wedding followed by back issues has put me behind on a lot of house projects. I am about an hour from the closest JD to me, or any large landscape company, so buying 6-12 mo worth of product helps me out

Lesco 0-0-7 it is in a yellow bag. IIRC HD has it Lowe's does not
