Yeah, I'm not sure broad leaf killer is gonna take care of that. Looks pretty serious."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Haha only pic I could find was from a color printer. So it's a picture of a print.Originally posted by CJ View Postlooks like the first picture was taken in '87."You don't so much drive it, more like poke it with a sharp stick and channel the fury when you piss it off."

5 days ago I had our new yard hydroseeded and it's starting to come up. I may end up with a yard after all.

I finally have some bermuda spreading through my back yard. I'm trying to nurse it through this heat. The patio is finally done, once I get some landscaping done I'll toss a picture up.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

looking good black!
So the past month and a half since having to raise it to 2" i have been watering the grass every 3 or 4 days to keep up with this drought and every section i had to leave it for 15 to 20 minutes just to get the ground a little soft. I missed 2.5 weeks of mowing due to a vacation and had to move it up from 1" to 2" on the mower. I noticed the bermuda after about 2 or 3 days was getting puffy in a lot of areas and wasnt growing the way i wanted. I should have taken a before picture. It had a lush deep green color to it but was way higher than i wanted.
I tried cutting getting back down to 1" but it was impossible with the heat and timing so i dropped it to 1.5" and cut the front, bag the clippings, and cut again and repeated that for the back. I have 6 of those lowes grass bags filled to the top! I dropped some fertilizer down in time for all this rain we are hopefully going to get and it should green up in a week or so.

Yeah, the lack of rain and extreme heat has taken it's toll on mine too. I'm hoping we get plenty of rain this week as I can tell there's a ton of shrinkage in the soil as it's pull over 3/4" away from the concrete edges and the grass near the curbs is just yellow and burnt.Originally posted by stevoNot a good idea to go Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor on the power phallus.

Thanks. It is getting there. I probably should have put some fertilizer down before the rain.Originally posted by Goku025 View Postlooking good black!
