My waxleaf ligustrums took the freeze pretty hard, most lost all or almost all their leaves. I noticed today all but 1 have some new fresh growth down low. I’m holding out to see if the last one comes around

When are crape myrtle's supposed to start growing again? I'm afraid mine froze to death in February.

Got everything mowed and weed-n-feed applied, to both the 6k sq foot yard and the 45k sq ft field. Also put some seed down in a few bare spots, next mow, here in a few days, I'll mulch the small yard down another 1/2 inch to get it closer to the proper height. It gets bumpy and clumpy if you let it grow over 2.5 inches.

It was a mix. Bermuda and st augustine

All new construction is typically Tif419

I've got some sections I'm afraid are dead, we will see over the next month how it comes in.

The builder left me with a SHITTY grade. Several spots I scalped it down to dirt. It looks like I will be top dressing for the next few years. This year, I'll focus on green and healthy and spot fill low spots.

Bermuda I assume? If so, cutting low and often is always good. Feed it with some 10-10-10 or milorganite. Just bag your clippings and worry about weeds later after the sod has established some. Don’t use pre-emergent until the sod is one season old.

I love milorganite. I use it along with other fertilizer and makes my yard super deep green

Should I keep new sod cut low for a while to encourage creep? I'm starting to green up, and need to knock the weeds down.
