I use to work offline quite a bit when I was getting overtime. As far as someone getting laid off... I have not heard anything yet. I know a few people got canned over attendence issues.

Air/Electric and days. So GE is interviewing? Good to know I have a buddy that needs a job. I am thinking like you, I hope some people do get hired that way I move up too. I like the company and my job and hope this ends up being my career for life. Not happy about the layoffs, but understand it's a part of the system and eventually will have a good enough clock number that layoffs won't be a problem. What's the highest clock number you have heard?
