They all have over a year of seniority. I have two friends that got thrown back to evenings when they lowered production on third. They had just over a year which right now with the hiring Peterbilt have been doing is okay seniority.

There's only 2 touch up painters every shift. And fwiw the two third shift painters have ZERO seniority

In other words...Mr. Grade 4.lol If I don't go into the IT department I want transfer to 3rd shift paint because of the 12% shift premium and Grade 4. Plus, I like those hours best. 2nd shift kind of ruins your day/nights.

I'm a liner in sleeper trim.

And you may get 12% but you would get less overtime. And OT is where the real $ is

Im grade 4 paint and ever since they started weekend shift and 3rd shift overtime has been non-existent. Except for the occasional cross shift or staying over to make up trucks. 3rd shift grade 4 paint only runs one booth and two touch up guys. Because it is 12% its hard to get 3rd shift unless you have seniority.
