Do you listen to music while studying?

I find techno helps me while studying discrete mathematics. Any mathematics, calculus, differential equations. Some reason the fast beating music helps me think.

I don't 'listen' to it as much as use it for background noise and the calming effect.

I don't know that I ever listened to music...or paid attention to what I listened to but I'm sure I did at times. For my masters I never listened to music.

I can guarantee it wasn't techno.
