Whats the best way to get it off the front painted surfaces.

The best and only way. The foam helps breakdown and lift away the non bonded contaminants, the follow with a power washer to blast the "bug juice" away. Be careful, however. If bugs, bird droppings, etc have been baking on the paint for a while, power washing can chip the paint right off.

WD40 or we get this degreaser from the local carwash supply called hot stuff
