    Magnets dont stick to Bondo!! =)

    Yup, you can tell by the fading/deteriorating paint that it has been painted before. And the you can see bondo below the cracks. This truck has probably had hail dents fixed up there that couldn't be PDR'd out. Whomever did the work didn't mix the plastic filler correctly and it is cracking. Or even the rust under the bondo work leading to the plastic filler to up and crack.

    What's going on here?

    My dad noticed this on his truck the other day. This is the top of the cab on an 02 F 150. It looks like the metal has just rusted out and started cracking and splitting. Anybody ever seen this before? Can't figure out what would cause this. How would I go about fixing it?
