  • Actually...THIS May Be My Next Bike

So although I just said I wasn't going to buy that 250F because I'll likely be moving, it looks like the Harley will be sold tomorrow and my buddy has got this thing up for sale right now. I think it's fuckin sick, and I might just have to have it.

It's an 1100 V-Star...my buddy already sold this one for $7,200, but is telling me he could build another one for me for $6k. I'm going to talk to him today about the specifics, but that's a pretty nice looking bike for $6k, IMO.

If I wasn't so afraid of riding a street bike I'd roll the shit out of that.

I would ride that if it had a Mustang seat on it.

Good looking bike. And I would roll it as well, if I wasn't scared of riding on the street. No death sentence for me just yet!

He's bringing it over on Saturday so I can have a closer look and take it for a ride. Stay tuned.

If you're going to have your buddy build you another bike like that I have a couple of suggestions for it. Have him do an AIS delete kit and an Oil Filter Relocation kit. The AIS delete stops a lot of the annoying popping when you let off the throttle, and the ORK kit makes oil changes a breeze.

I took it for a ride yesterday, and the popping issue you mentioned was pretty pronounced. I'll look into the AIS delete kit, thanks.
