Geez man save the money from the Vette and ride the piss out of that Interceptor. I guarantee you can't ride that little VFR to anywhere near its potential...so why get something newer that costs 4x as much that you still can't ride to its potential. That VFR is a great starter bike.

I will. It's kind of hard to have "taken care of" a bike that you just bought. Who knows what kind of care someone took of it the last 20,700 miles and 25 years.Originally posted by Big A View Postyoung kid = young kid problems
People are driving there 60's mustangs etc. without issue, because they take care of them. If you want a newer bike, then fine, but don't use the bike's age as an excuse.
The bike is old, heavy, needs tires, needs some carb work etc. It runs okay, but it's not a bike I would take more than eight miles from home.2012 GT500
