The wiring is through the frame, but the brake/gas lines are not.

Dont get me wrong, I would roll the shit out of it in a heartbeat, but not at that price. What he should do is have the thing repainted just a solid black and enjoy it. Change a few simple things on it. Put some nice spokes on it. Could be a sweet bike.

I remember seeing Bourgets at Renegade Cycle down the street from Longhorn years ago. I couldnt believe the prices on them though, like $60k+. Now it seems like they are all over ebay and craigslist for $15k and sit there forever.
