I've had so many close calls lately that I have considered selling my bike. Fucking assholes.

The only close calls I've had were self induced dumb shit. I had the worst tank slapper ever last Sunday evening. Almost crushed my thumb, but luckily the gas tank took the dent instead.

When I bought my bike I did it with dumbassery in mind so I didnt buy anything fast. I have an 01 v star 1100 that I bought in 02. It's my main source of transportation but I'm getting more and more discouraged by the average human.

Yeah, I was in a dark spot and pissed off about some shit when I got mine. I woke up one Monday morning and decided to find a bike that would ease all of my issues. Jumped on CL and drove to Terrell.

Had I known that the Superhawk flexed so bad, I would have gotten a better bike.

I was on a long sweeping turn with no traffic for miles, running a few clicks over the speed limit. I felt it try to get loose twice, but I stayed in it. I saw the pothole come into the headlight's view, but it was too late. I was committed.

It was bad enough that the back tire came off the ground, caught hard and tried to high side. This threw my left foot off the peg and smacked the crankcase with my ankle bone. I set for heading to the ditch with handlebars banging the tank something fierce. It settled down at 110 as I made it to the shoulder, avoiding the ditch.

Took my scared ass to the house and changed my underwear. The rush was pretty fucking awesome, though.

well, that was me the other day, except with my head. i'm coming around this corner at a nice lean, and this big ass dually truck with extended mirrors is on the center stripe, and i lift my head right as he was about to decapitate me.

I sold mine, and while I miss a bike every now and again, I didnt ride it to work due to the idiots that are driving around daily. It got to where I didnt want to ride at all, especially since the couple guys I rode with liked to run 100+ all the time.
