Yep after the chain popped off and broke the water pump off the block, i decided to just get a used motor instead of messing with trying to weld a cast block.

yep, that can cause some gnarley damage. I know. just got mine back up from the exact same thing.

haha, no, i'm air/oil cooled, but it did take out the sprocket cover and a few other odds and ends at about 90mph

thankfully no casing damage.

First time I saw a Suzuki do that was the SRAD era in the 90's. Love how they are still running with that fucked up design all these years later.
