Have you been to the Dallas Zoo lately? They have expanded big time. I believe the new section opened September or so last year. You need to check it out.

Seconded. I used to only go to the Ft. Worth Zoo. Now that they've expanded, the Dallas Zoo really is nice and is on par, perhaps better, then the Ft. Worth Zoo. I went ahead and bought a Zoo Pass for the first time because of that.
