Not personally, I used to work in the medical industry where its common place for people looking for hand outs. There's many of court cases where people win a settlement and never see a dime.

How about a 30 day suspension? Hit someone for a month without pay and hours of remedial boring classroom training and it will get their attention.

Or, termination.

There was a law passed several years ago preventing officers from resigning under investigation or bad circumstances and getting hired on another department.

If you or I hurt them severely in the process, you or I go to jail for assault w/ bodily injury. As far as the payday, how again would you prefer him to get justice on the crooked cop? Since I couldn't legally kick the shit out of him, I would want him to be in financial ruin.

Police brutaliy is nothing new but, just about everyone having some type of video source to capture it is fairly new .

In this case filmed, the officer became angry for no real apparent reason ? I see no need to attack the exact same public that they are hired to protect.

It does to me, seem that the system is broken, this type of situation should really never happen any where at any time but or daily lives are now filled with it .

Law enforcements rebuttal is always " Tough, thank less job "

Police at one time were held at the highest level of respect ..But time after time the citizens being arrested for no reason , officers telling lies in court , breaking laws to enforce laws , police beating, shootings, etc ..

The public has no sense of how to react , we should not be affraid to be approached by one , or make eye contact fearing they have had a bad day and they and the fellow officers will stop you and deal out their form of street justice

Police departments thru-out the USA need to take a hard look on how to create a complete new outlook or the problem will only escalate further

How many teachers are assaulted each year?
How many cable repair men, ONCOR techs, McDonalds employees, etc. get assaulted or bullied because the general public has no concept of restraint or respect?
