You should come out to Bridgeport some time and do some wheeling with us, see how many Jeeps you pull outOriginally posted by John Galt View PostI would take the bronco over a heep any day. Ford Bronco, proud member of the Jeep search and rescue team since 1967
The only joke is thinking a lifted bronco with mud tires and a V8 = a capable off road vehicleOriginally posted by Sean88gt View PostIs this a joke? You can't be serious and be that much of a hack.

Lol those are street tires just like an LS1 is stock. Just because they are DOT rated, they are a mud tire. No idea what level trails you ran in that thing, but with tiny little mudders and not much flex with a high COG and probably low gearing, I can only imagine. At least its locked in the frontOriginally posted by WesB View PostThe main reason I did the 3" body lift is to make a 302 swap easier when I get the money to do it. And I went to brideport (thats where the pic was taken) and I did preety good for a mostly stock vehicle with street tires.

As opposed to a heep that needs new axles, lower gears, and a lift just to be able to run mud tires.... At least the Bronco came with the right parts off the showroom floor.Originally posted by bottlerocket View PostThe only joke is thinking a lifted bronco with mud tires and a V8 = a capable off road vehicle

Really? Last I checked a stock Rubicon is a very capable Jeep, as is the XJ.Originally posted by John Galt View PostAs opposed to a heep that needs new axles, lower gears, and a lift just to be able to run mud tires.... At least the Bronco came with the right parts off the showroom floor.
