Now you got me thinking again. When I put together that clock I was looking for a tailgate for a 65ish chevy truck to make a seat out of... so I just looked on CL and found 2 for cheap

will look something like this, but lower obviously, and then they fold down to sit on.

Nice idea. If I ever get some property and build my barn, I have a lot of ideas. Cavender's has a pretty good one. They took a 67-72 bed, stood it up on end with the bottom against the wall. Then built shelves in the bed.

It's a Ford Explorer 5.0 cam with 8 extra lobes welded to it.
