That's the good thing about Ford trucks of late. The A/C is a killer. I had a 1998 Ext Cab. that was dark maroon and it still would never get hot inside during summer and never overheated. I really enjoyed that truck. Put 150K miles on it with zero problems. A giant hail storm banged the heck out of the body one day. Sold it to one of my son's helpers. It is probably south of the border now.

Silver is a nice color for a truck. Will never show dirt much. Yours is a nice looking truck, I liked those years body style.

It was about 90 degrees yesterday when I took that pic. The A/C is awesome in a single cab. It will literally make your nipples hard.

The transmission was rebuilt in 2009, and it sat for an entire year, so there's less than 5k miles on it. I put a brand new longblock in it, so the truck should see another 10 years:

Yep I drove one just like his when I was in sales my last two years and we beat the hell out of them all day and no issues. A/C was great and never a hitch other then them melting the spares. Mine did develop a little delay in the torque convertor that would give you a nice little suprise every now and then but never let me down.

Retired after 41 years as an EE at TI/Raytheon. Just hammimg it up now (CQ de W5RDW)

I was a Manual Morse Intercept Operator (MOS 2621) and learned Morse at NTTC Corry Station in 1987.

I was sent to Guantanamo Bay for work, where you might as well learn Morse all over again. Cubans have shit for code.

I reached Gold (copying keyboard at 30 GPM), and could stick 18-20's.
