The battery hold down needs to be fixed, just 75$ for a new one is a little much.

It's dirty under the hood because I used to live down a dirt road, and when the engine comes out, it'll get shined up.

You guys act like I think my car is perfect, it's not, it's a pile, it's a work in progress. I got it to have a car to work on and make into MY car. I didnt go out and buy someone else's project.

For fucks sake people, get a fucking idea on what's going on.
Don't sweat it, you're a kid, we all did dumb shit to our cars when we were young, dumb, and broke. You're forgetting that a lot of guys on this site are fat, old, and hate their lives, fuck 'em. I bought a $5 battery tray for my fox on this site. There is a good chance someone in this thread just has one laying around, but certainly someone on this site has one they would sell.

dont mind the guys. enjoy what you have/afford. Im impressed with how fast your car is stock.

Besides, when youre jumping the car, how can you expect the battery trey to hold up anyways?

Both of those cars are super nice, I really miss the days of being able to find a nice clean coupe that wasnt an insane price...

    +15$ for shipping.

I'd much rather put that towards relocating it to the trunk, which I plan to do anyways.
You do realize you don't have to buy a OEM replacement battery tray? There are tons of universal kits out there for about 1/5th that price. That's what I used in a Mustang and a Jeep. However, if you prefer a bungee cord. More power to you. I couldn't stand the tackiness of it myself, but that's just my personal opinion.
