Because that will prove a lot. Reminds me of a f-body douchebag not too long ago who claimed he could shift a T56 faster than anyone around. His proof was to drag race another f-body. He lost. We called him the T56 Jedi anyway.Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostSSJunk, go buy a mustang and I'll go buy another Camaro and we can race. Deal?

[QUOTE=Whiteboy;296269]and your point is what?? That car was the Boss 302,and can not be had for under $40k plusOriginally posted by Hell-Bent SS View Postdon't get me wrong i like those new mustangs ($40k), It was just hard watching that camaro($35k) have a couple car lenghts after the first turn and then all of a sudden the mustang gets the inside lane and drives away.Just sayin maybe it was a little bias.[/QUOTE
You can buy 5.0's brand new in the low 30's

...or 2011 SS for 40k
Yeah the extra 3 grand for superior power, acceleration, cornering, comfort and interior materials plus being able to see out of it is worth it.
Not to mention when I get bored with the car in three years the SS would only be worth $26000-$28000 where as the Boss would be much closer to its purchase price when new.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Funny you should bring that up. I did a vacation thing in NoCal last summer and rented Mustang and A REGULAR HARDTOP (BECAUSE GM WAS STILL SCRATCHING THEIR ASS ON HOW TO MAKE A HEAVY TURD EVEN HEAVIER) back to back. Had them the same amount of days. Four of us and 10 days worth of luggage. No problem getting all our shit into the Mustang trunk. Camaro we had to leave a few things out.Originally posted by GhostTX View PostDon't forget, trunk in the new Camaro is crap.Last edited by SS Junk; 06-25-2011, 03:31 AM.

the reason i follow grand am so much is because its as real of a street car as you can get and the field is pretty even! i remember going to the crew chief meeting and trying to get shit approved to add on our Z4s and it was hard.... you really had to prove that you were at a disadvantage..... fun 4 wheel pit stops and 6 hour races! Ford and BMW all the way!

Even if I would've edited the text it would have stated as such. You are right. I thought I had a vert Camaro, but I was reminded by my wife it was indeed a hard top. Tells you how memorable it was to have that pile of crap.Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostSo you can't do Ninja editing.
Even better... so the convertible Mustang I was able to fit our luggage in with not much thought or problem yet in the hard top Camaro I had to negotiate shit like a tetris game. Yeah, this works in your favor wonderfully...
Edit- I edited it anyway. What now?Last edited by SS Junk; 06-25-2011, 03:29 AM.
