Bug out / Survival / Zombie proof vehicles

when I bug out, I'm throwing a trailer on the back with a couple drums of fuel, a generator and supplies and headed to the mountains.

Although I doubt a diesel would run on natural gases, I like the idea!

Nice thing about diesels is they run on just about any flammable liquid/oil. Engine oil, tranny fluid, hyd fluid, p/s fluid, cooking oils etc etc. Would take a long time to run out of fuels in a post apocolyptic situation. main concern would be filtering whatever you use for fuel.

Even if they do float there's way more ocean to cover than there is land to walk. I'd be a lot less worried about running into zombies on the water than on land.

Yup, but it doesn't look right without the side mounted gun. Another good movie vehicle is the one used in Aliens. Just convert the gun turret into a flame thrower.

Then you haven't read World War Z, after a certain amount of decomp they float! And the ones that don't float climb up the anchor chains!
