The problem with uparmoring something like a Prerunner is thw weight and stress it puts on the vehicle and drivetrain. We ditched our uparmored Landcruisers because of this, but the HD 2500 Suburbans work out pretty well. The 8100's and transmissions hold better too.

Excursions and F550 are the only way to go. Ford's A/C suck though and the Cheby's were more comfortable to ride in during the summer. But you can bet that when they blew up my Excursion the passengers were glad they were in the Ford over the POS Suburbans. I need to find my pictures.
