I had almost his exact same motor short 91ci at 15psi and I was not even near 800rwhp, a little more than half that. And I was running a blower with a much cooler charge.

550-650 at the wheels is still stout. Maybe he has a kit on the car too that would get it to 800whp easy.

Do you have your distributor off by 1 tooth?

I know you say he has a 393 but a friend of mine is running a dart iron eagle 331 with a turbo (80mm if Im not mistaken) and a hogan sheet metal intake and Im thinking the heads are Victor Jr's (ported etc) and his car put down 847 rwhp so with the heads, intake and vortech, I just find it hard to believe.

BTW, that looks a hell of a lot like Spritle's old car.

It is fun to outrun those guys though, especially if they have their bitch on the back that they are trying to impress.
While this is true even a 10 year old GSXR 1000 should trap 140+.

You probably already know, but bikes have a horrible c/d due to all the low-pressure areas. Sure they have small frontal areas, but they are anything but clean through the air. Not to mention nearly no one rides in leathers. In 2002 or maybe 2003 I out top-ended one friends R1 while riding another friend's R6 and there is a massive difference there in RWHP. Well, massive for bikes, lol.

Most riders are in jeans flapping in the wind, most wear overly large riding jackets, they keep their heads to high, elbows and ankles too wide, heels too low, ass too low, and start off 1-2 gears too high from a roll.

If you're on a 600 it doesn't take too much of a car to outrun you from a 100 punch.

Wait, the guy selling you something gave you a line of amazingness about the item he was trying to sell you on?!?! - Shocker!

    LOL

Good luck with the blower man.

800hp through gt40s is a little on the extreme.
gt40 irons can be ported to flow 240-250 @ .500 on the intake with 1.94 over sized valves installed which is the about the same as afr 185's

That definitely IS a 351 based block. Look how the distributor mounting surface of the block is quite a bit below the bottom of the intake. On a 302 it's almost flush.

Finally got my boost timing master, boost reference regulator & 42# injectors so with this supercharger I'm shootin for some very nice numbers He was makin a bit over 800rwhp with it
a built h/c/i 4.6 2v , w/ an intercooled s-trim, on e85 can make 660 at the wheels on 60lb injectors, so i don't doubt that a built 393 h/c/i can make 800hp. all he has to do is run higher compression and e85 or race gas.

still a stretch but i bet its possible
