Pretty freakin cool actually. They're preserved so well. Wonder what keeps people from scavenging the bodies for their expensive equipment? Funny that they're used as landmarks lol. The tourist shop conversations must be hilarious. "Well when you pass 'ol what's his name that tried what you're doing last week, take a right." ROFL!!

Your avatar suits you. Anyone looking to climb Everest is driven, and likely self-sufficient. Base camp is higher than your average person could even get to, and the places that those who have died aren't quite accesible to the every day theif.Originally posted by StanleyTweedle View PostPretty freakin cool actually. like the fact that people who have invested the time, money, energy, dedication, etc. to reach that point on Everest have absolutely NO inclination or desire to loot the body of a fellow climber?Originally posted by StanleyTweedle View PostYou mean like whether or not people are scavenging bodies on mount everest?

Speak for yourself, I'm putting together an expedition right now to get up there and take George Mallory's wallet. It is from 1924, you know it has got to have some good shit in it. While I am there I may just go ahead and get to the top, don't want to miss the low hanging fruit, you know....Originally posted by Cooter View Postlike the fact that people who have invested the time, money, energy, dedication, etc. to reach that point on Everest have absolutely NO inclination or desire to loot the body of a fellow climber?Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.
