    It happened in April 1996.

Damn Jimmy, I have a S&W 357, I can only imagine what it would be on the business end of that thing - FUCK THAT!!

I don't have pics, but when I was around 11-12 years old I wrecked on a bicycle in a major way.

I was in my apartment complex riding my bicycle around in the parking lot, a car started down the hill towards me - so I moved over to the side, about a foot or so off of the firelane stripe. As the car passed, I turned to see if it was clear for me to go back out in the street...but I hit a boat trailer tongue that was sticking out past the line. I flipped over the handlebars and hit the jack post of the boat right below my eye, full speed, full weight. I blinked and got up thinking that I should be feeling some sort of pain - but didn't. Then I saw the blood pouring out of my face. I got a quick rush to the ER where I had 100-200 stitches that were several layers deep. Knocked most of my top LH teeth loose, but didn't come out. Ended up having 3 plastic surgeries to make the scar heal up in the smile line etc.. not fun. Sorry, no pics.

LoL! Yeah, it made me cringe too! <-----What I assume my face looked like.

Long story short, it happened during a narcotics search warrant. My team and another team met up on opposite sides of the same door. Our side opened into them just as they were about to open what they thought was a closet door. First thing they saw was a gun coming at them. Went thru the Officer in front (upper inner thigh aka danger close to the jewels!) and thru my calf then a bath tub and into the wall behind it. It was a fun day!
If I HAD to get shot with a .357, that right there would be my preference. Not to take away from your injury, I'm sure that it hurt like hell, but taking one to the chest or head could/would be far worse.

No pics but I have had my share. Water cooled FL350 popped the radiator hose and poored coolant directly into my neck collar, I had some terrible burns all around my neck and upper back. Broke my right pinking clean, and every bone in my right elbow region after going down during a chase. Elbow had to be opened up and trimmed along with multiple bone fragments pulled out. I took three titanium pins from the tip of my pinkie thru my knuckle down into my hand to hold the pinky. I actually watched the doctor do this one.

No pics, but when I was young I slammed into a tree at about 40 in my Samurai, seat belt anchor broke and my knees went under the dash, right knee wedged on the bar that is under/in the dash, pushing my femur through my pelvis on the right side shattering it and breaking the ball joint off the femur. I spent many days in traction, many and about six months on crutches. At this point, no cartilage left in the joint so I do not get around very well.

It ended my sport -fucking career.
