absolutely, I found the story behind the term redneck fascinating, and a worth while read for anyone that immediately associates redneck with "uneducated, loser, idiot" etc. I imagine Hank Jr. knew he was risking his NFL gig to speak like he did, none the less, kudos for exercising the courage to speak his mind despite the personal risk. That is the essence of free-speech, IMO.

I never said he didn't have the right to say what he said. What I meant was that if he had a point to make, it could have been done more effectively. However, he has a persona to maintain and that's what Fox wanted to see. Fox knew exactly what they were going to get by asking him about politics, and they had him on merely to get a sensational response.

Fox(and all the main news outlets) are too busy worrying about entertainment and ratings rather than reporting real news.
