Not bad, looks streaked though. Your fan spray needs to be bigger or spray further away.

Time for some teaser shots. Got a lot painted today, but the sunlight started going away, so we had to quit.

I changed the passenger door with one from a base V6 and it had a piece of trim that was glued on with the same stuff that holds the emblem on. It took me 2 hours with a scraper and a heat gun to get that shit off. It was easy enough to tape around the emblem.

Yep I am. Actually looking to get rid of the turn downs anyway, I like a straight pipe.

Ok, some shit happened and I got delayed on the primer, but I am good now. Sorry for the blur on the front end pics, stupid camera didn't like the low light.

I hated doing my trunk and roof, and aaallll the sanding. As long as you don't rush and make sure you're happy with it, and it's straight, it will turn out nice. Bumpers suck too, but they don't show near as much as a flat panel.

Technically there are two layers, the original and the new crap. On the bumper, there are two as well, some crap blue, then the color that's on it now. The bumpers are exceptionally bad and I am taking them mostly down to the fiberglass.

I agree with you and in person there is a lot more taken off than what the pictures show. Most of it is past the new red and down to the original red, all the way to the metal in places where there were chips in the paint. My dad is the one doing the painting and he assures me that it's fine the way it is. I have seen his work, so I am inclined to trust him. Heck, my body shop friend, who does really good paint work, told me to just hit it with some 400 grit and shoot it.

I agree about doing it right, I would strip that bastard down to nothing, have it media blasted and then shot, but I don't have that kind of time. She won't be a garage queen, just a daily driver.
