So I decided to try turning my first bowl today. Not perfect but I'm pretty damn happy with my first attempt...

Some of you have been asking if I could make pens for you. The answer is yes, but after the holidays. I was thinking of charging $20 plus the cost of materials. That can be about $6 or $8 but can get ALOT more expensive depending on the kit. There are kits out there that cost $40 but I'm sure there are even more expensive ones out there.

The pens I've made so far are very simple but I'm going to do some much more complicated ones this week. I'll show those off as they are completed.

I was chatting with some guys on the woodnet forums and I think I've figured out what I did wrong on this one. I'm going to try a new one later today.

Cars are a real hobby. I'm getting together with guys at our church and doing a Lemons racer for next year. We've already got the car (an MR2 turbo).
