That's hilarious. So they had to go to court, possibly pay for an attorney, and "won"?

How much did it cost the officer???? He probably made overtime to show up for court.....

I know I laugh each time I get called to court. $70/hour is worth showing up.

Well yes we all know in the long run The Man "wins" in a situation like this, however the looks on their faces after the attorney was done with the three of them and how they tucked tail and ran out of the courtroom was priceless. They were caught with their pants down and according to my friend, was worth every penny of hiring an attorney to keep a bogus charge off his driving record. So yes, in essence we all "won."
Point being is you have no positive ID you can't prove anything.
Another story- Twice I've had someone report to the police that I was driving erratically. I was pulled over, cop was yelling, screaming, ranting and raving. I politely asked if he actually witnessed me driving in said way, he said he hadn't, I then asked if I could leave and of course he said I could all the while fuming. I smiled politely in both cases and thanked them and left. In that case, I win because lazy, fat bastard actually has to radio in, stop, huff out of his car, walk the 20 steps to mine and exert all kinds of pent up anger all the while I give no reaction which makes their jowls even shake more.
