Absolutely not. As said above, he had a reasonable opportunity to escape and he purposely chose not to take it. He knew or should have known that the guy that jumped on and punched his car and that was yelling and following him down the street would come after him if he stopped and got out. He clearly got out for the purpose of knocking some heads out of the park with that bat. Don't get me wrong, I love that he dolled out some serious street justice, but he's guilty as sin.

you get out of your car, they come at you, you open fire.
would the law be on your side here?
not trying to incite a flame war for whatever reason, just curious.
You're screwed because you could have escaped.
Those guys are lucky that wasn't AlP and Mike!

There were a couple of really good connections in there! And there was sooo much more ownage to be had, as those guys didn't know how to approach it until he lost control of the bat...
And i dig that vid too. Makes me feel like a Steve should every time I see it!
It'd be a ballsy roll Adam! But, maybe it would work...

I understand what you are saying, but think that video would sway folk. I would definitely like to see which way they went, bet that.

Just because someone commits a crime it doesn't mean you are within your rights to attack/shoot them. Your own statement kills any argument you might have supporting him stopping and getting out of his car.Originally posted by ThreeFingerPete View PostThose guys had already committed a crime, so it's not like the situation had "potential" for crime. It had already happened.
You obviously don't know what you're talking about. I'd say there's about a 95% chance that guy would not get "no billed."Originally posted by ThreeFingerPete View PostI disagree, please read my first post in the thread. Do the words "no bill" mean anything to you?

So if when he drove to the end of the street, and got out to look at his car, that when all 7 of them ran up on him screaming threats and fully intent on doing him bodily harm, that HE would have been the one who "attacked" them?Originally posted by Gear_Jammer View PostJust because someone commits a crime it doesn't mean you are within your rights to attack/shoot them. You might be right, but that doesn't make it right.
So you don't have the right to call the cops, and report a crime at the scene? Are you telling me that those criminals would not have attacked him if he got out of his car to make that phone call?Originally posted by Gear_JammerYou obviously don't know what you're talking about.
