i live like 15miles from kdale which is obviously a short trip, i drive it sometimes to weatherford to our shop which is like 50 miles, it's not a caddy (well, the engine is), but in all honesty if i planned to street it more i'd change the rear gears from 3.73's to 3.08's or 3.23's and put some street wheels/tires on it, and possibly change the exhaust to come out the back.

didn't really change anything in the rear suspension, i just got new rear wheels and took out the spring spacers. after that the car went a few 5.8x's, then i pulled the converter and had it restalled and now it went all 5.7x's yesterday. brooks thinks i've got a good bit left in the combo if i get the rear suspension really figured out. can't complain too much, all my 60's yesterday were low 1.3x's with a new best of 1.31.

Did you get wheels with a different back spacing so the tires would clear the fender better?

ya, went with some 15x10 6.5bs pro stars. i had some 15x9 5.5bs on before.
