You're missing what I'm saying. There is considerably more opportunity for same sex to have time to piitb than opposite sex situations. Obviously it isn't allowed in either situation. My point was if a guy made a pass at a woman, she would blow it off or send it up to the brass. If a dude made a pass at some crazy guy, he might flip out. Or, a unit might turn against a particular member.

The reason DADT was created was to protect those people. Ever seen what happens to a openly gay kid in a football locker room? Kind of the same thing. The idea being they will be ostracized by their unit, or possible abused by other members because of their sexual preference.
