I Groupon'd a one hour drive in a Lamborghini Gallardo for my dad on his birthday. We went yesterday to redeem it. Even with the crappy weather he had a blast. It's an AWD car so there really aren't any traction issues, even on the wet streets.
When the government pays, the government controls.
They also have a museum of toy cars, pedal cars, salesman's samples, ship models, tether cars/boats, and automobile service demonstrators. Really it's just a bunch of stuff the owner likes to collect. But it was cool as hell!

More details? Was it all day, just a couple hours? Mind sharing the coupon?
I think I got a pretty good deal since it was through Groupon. But their standard rates are on the website. It's pretty damned cool to be able to drive an exotic, even if it's for just an hour.
Lambo/Ferrari pricing was $379 on site. IIRC It is for 45 minutes and with a driving instructor. Still cool, though and that price doesn't seem horrible.

Sorry if my posts seem like a schizophrenic mess, but really... that's kinda how the museum is organized. lol
So do they really have someone driving around with you? If you paid a lot less than that I would be interested in going. Iwould rather go with a friend though than some joe shmoe car rep.

Good luck finding a place that will let random people loose on a city in a 200+mph quarter-million-dollar car. They do ride with you as a passenger.

When I did www.worldclassdriving.com , they only rode shotgun in the Ferrari 599 & Mercedes SLR, due to insurance reasons. The other cars(Gallardo Superleggera, Maserati, Callaway Vette & Ford GT) my brother rode with me, and we even switched-off on driving a few cars. He didn't even have a driver's license! They basically said that if we got a ticket or whatever, it was our responsibility. This was in 2008, so maybe insurance companies & policies are a little more strict on stuff like this.
