The new Camaro has outsold the Mustang since it came out and anyone waiting for the minor redesign of the Mustang is not going to change those stats. Like it or not, the style of the Camaro pops much more than the Mustang and people put a high priority on style when buying cars like the Mustang or Camaro. Until Ford totally redesigns the Mustang, the Camaro will continue to outsell it. Performance doesn't matter to the majority of car buyers (at least minor variances in performance). The SS is fast enough for 98% of Camaro buyers. The 2% where it isn't will buy the slightly faster 5.0 or the GT500 or ZL1.
I agree w/ much of this, but I believe camaro sells have only been above the mustangs because of the lack of being in the market for so long. So many guys are diehards and didn't have an opportunity to buy one for what nearly 10 years? Of course their sales are going to be higher. The camaro was greatly promoted as well w/ its lack of being on the road for some time. It's a sharp looking car and performs well for it's weight... I personally just think it looks too much like a hot wheels car. Their is no arguing though that the 2011 5.0 is a far better deal than the camaro... same w/ the v6 cars. Performance, cost to mod, and design in my opinion are all better w/ the mustang. I think the interior on the mustang is leaps above the camaro as well...

GT500 is not near 70K MSRP, but maybe that was covered already. 13 GT500 is cheaper than the ZL1.

I'd love to take a Gallardo out to the country backroads through the twisty turns between McKinney and Sherman. I don't need a twin turbo one since you can't use it through a turn anyways. I just want to hear that uncorked exhaust in the countryside! I heard Taylor's car Friday night at the meet and that car sounds perfect! I wanted to check it out, but I didn't want to bother him.

I'm single, I need a smaller house(less to clean), time to be a 30k millionaire and lease a baller whip from Autoflex!!!

and to mod those cars = $$$$$$$$... i will have to stick to my vette for now

Either way, GM will be forced to step their game which is good for everyone.

Leave a car alone... ??? You mean, leave it .... stock?

Why the F*@# would you want to do that?

FGTs, Gallardos are just begging to be twin turbo'd!!

My next project will be about 3400lbs, AWD, twins and make just over 800whp on 93 octane, without methanol or torco and I'll call it done.

As for the Gallardo, I like the fact you can get behind the wheel, hit the key, have fun, and who gives a fuck if some guy's 88 LX is faster. Unfortunately you can no longer get a true stick-shift in a new Gallardo/Ferrari 458 :-( I too hold no loyalty to any manufacturer, I've owned them all. I'd dump all my shit for a Gallardo, but I can't justify a $30k car, much less a $100k+ car due to the fact that I am out of town 90% of the time.
