  • 50mph to 145mph in 4th gear

For those of you bored out of your minds at home on a Saturday night (like me). Shot this earlier today. I know it's slow compared to most of you guys, but it's not too bad for a bone stock factory engine with a 100k powertrain warranty.

Bonus video for those of you really bored. Crappy video quality, but I wanted to see if no lift shifting actually worked on the ZR1 in launch control mode (keeps it from banging off the rev limiter). Apparently it works. You can tell the computer was really trying to manage traction in 1st and 2nd gear.

That looks very similar to what my 1997 F150 4.2L does.

                :-)

Nice truck! My ex from a long time ago had one of these with a manual. It was nice enough cruising around but when she had to tow a uhaul trailer from TX to Rhode Island, it was a total dog. She had to downshift to 2nd and 3rd on steeper grades.
